In my excitement to get the pictures posted yesterday, I left out two very important members of Derek and Sara's family...Baxter and Sampson. I had the photograph ready to post, however given it was a "singleton" rather than a collage, it got overlooked in the rush to post. So without further ado, I present the sweet boys already adding joy to their family's home...

{Derek + Sara}
Derek and Sara were so much fun to work with {and I LOVED Sara's gorgeous red hair and stunning blue eyes}! They both had a great sense of humor which made the sitting both enjoyable and relaxing. Sara and Derek, it was great to work with you both and thank you for letting me be a part of this awesome adventure!

{Easton}
A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to photograph one of the cutest babies I think I've ever seen. With a full head of hair and an adorable smile, Easton became quite the ham in front of the camera. He grinned, he frowned, he put on a "serious" face, and everything in between. Needless to say, I shot a lot. Easton, thanks for being so sweet and Derek, I think you're right...future GAP model indeed!

{Boudoir Write-Up}
Yesterday, my Boudoir photography was written up in an article on the entertainment blog, KG Blog. One of my gorgeous models was featured, plus the author wrote a nice little blurb about my work and how Boudoir photography makes a great gift (it does!) and that this type of shoot can help you see just how gorgeous you are (most definitely!!). I have to admit that Boudoir sittings are one of my favorite types of sessions to do. There is something very inspiring about showing a woman how beautiful she is and watching her confidence emerge in front of the camera. And while it's true that the photographs from the sitting are always well-received by your partner, I think it's an even bigger gift to yourself! So what are you waiting for? Give me a call or send me an email to schedule your appointment today!

{Fowl}
Roaming our property are six crazy guineas and five Muscovy ducks, all of whom provide a lot of laughs {and poop}, and love to follow us around. So I felt I should include them since they're a big part of our family.

{Around my house}
After reading some amazing photojournalists blogs, I got inspired to photograph things I found around my property. I broke out my 24-70mm Macro lens, looked up, looked down, looked sideways, and everywhere in between. Needless to say, I had a blast! I've decided to do this more often and feature them on here as sort of a "Shot of the Day" sort of thing. Sometimes I may only have one picture, other days I may add several. We'll see how it goes.

{Dave + Victoria + Baby-to-Be}
I may have gone a bit overboard {the shoot lasted over two hours!} with this maternity sitting, but I couldn't help it. Victoria and Dave were so relaxed in front of the camera that I barely had to pose them and just kept clicking the shutter, letting their love for one another come through naturally. Pregnant with their first baby, Victoria had that gorgeous Mommy-to-be glow about her that shone through in her beautiful smile. Thanks Victoria & Dave for allowing me capture this moment!

{Jeff + Chelsea}
I would be more than remiss if I didn't include the last wedding I did in Oregon...especially given who the bride is. I first met Chelsea when I photographed her younger sister's wedding and saw her again when I photographed her elder sister's wedding. So when the call came that it was Chelsea's turn, I was more than honored (and more than excited) that I had been chosen to capture their day. I've said it a million times but I love working with this family! Knowing that this was the last daughter to get married was a bit bittersweet, yet it was wonderful seeing everyone again.
Jeff and Chelsea chose to have their wedding in front of a {still somewhat} snow capped mountain in a beautiful field surrounded by towering pines and alight with sagebrush. Definitely the perfect place for two nature-loving people to share their vows. The reception was held under the big white tent at the Seventh Mountain Resort where family and friends danced, shared in a jaw-droppingly awesome cake by Mike's Amazing Cakes, and laughed the night away. Throughout the entire day and night, Chelsea looked radiant, and Jeff grinned ear to ear. A perfect day for a perfect couple! Jeff & Chelsea, thank you for letting me a part of your day!
